EESE alumnus awarded the Mountbatten Medal

Congratulations to Dr Ronjon Nag (BSc Electronic & Electrical Engineering, 1984) who has been awarded the Mountbatten Medal from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering and British Computer Society for his pioneering work on smartphone componentry.

The Mountbatten Medal honours individuals who have made an outstanding contribution towards promoting the fields of electronics or information technology in the UK and previous awardees include Tim Berners Lee, Maurice Wilkes and Hermann Hauser.

Dr Nag will be presented with his Medal at the 2014 Mountbatten Memorial Lecture this month.
