What is the full story of third sector activity in communities struggling to manage through tough economic times?

How are organisations and individuals adapting to deal with the pressures affecting their work, and helping to set the agenda of change?

A new monthly series of reports from TSRC's long term research project 'Real Times' explores these issues and more.  Unfolding tales of voluntary action begins with the story of third sector activities in 'Larch', a relatively deprived village in the north of England, in mid-2010.

Qualitative data collected for 'Real Times' gives a unique vantage point to observe the main influencers of change.  The series is being produced in partnership with the ESRC funded ‘Changing Landscapesfor the Third Sector’ Knowledge Exchange project with the University of Leeds.
