BHSF partner Citysave, along with the University of Birmingham, invite you to their ‘Financial Wellbeing of the Birmingham Community’ event on Wednesday 24 April.

A key element of the Citysave charter is to promote thrift and financial wellbeing in Birmingham and Citysave has been working to develop a range of banking and budget account services ready for the 2013/14 tax year, in line with the widespread government changes affecting many lower and middle income households.

As household finances are becoming stretched, having access to good information and alternative solutions can help to alleviate financial stress. Limiting the expansion of predatory sectors will further protect households and the local economy.

This morning event, hosted by Citysave, is aimed at employers and other community leaders who are keen to support their employees, tenants and local residents. Citysave has brought together a number of sector specialists to inform and outline the positive actions available.

Venue: Birmingham Business School
Time:  9.00 am - 12 noon

If you would like to attend this event, please RSVP to CitySave ceo@citysave.org.uk.
