Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster, president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, gave a seminar on “The Future for Inter-Faith Relations” at Birmingham.
The conference, held at the University of Birmingham, was part of the Faith Leaders Day of Celebration and thanksgiving on September 12th marking their tenth anniversary since their formation after the events of 9/11. There was a ‘pilgrimage’ to places of worship in Birmingham, in the afternoon there was a conference at the University, at which the Archbishop was the chief speaker.
