The Conference Park at the University of Birmingham is celebrating its accreditation by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), in recognition of the standard of facilities and services on offer.

All MIA members must offer a minimum standard to ensure that all delegates and guests have a memorable event. The accreditation process is wide ranging and covers aspects from what should be available in meeting rooms to what information is available for delegates at each stage of their event. This process involves not only the reservation staff but also the operational staff who assist guests when they arrive.

All of the facilities at The Conference Park are booked by the enthusiastic team at Birmingham Conferences & Events. The dedicated team is responsible for dealing with all customers, both new and returning, in a friendly and professional manner so that all of their requirements are met.

Julie Zacaroli, General Manager for Birmingham Conferences & Events, said, “The whole team is delighted by the membership as it shows that we are offering high standards to our guests both before and during their stay.”

Julie continued, “We are now looking at how and where we can improve so we can achieve Silver Level membership within the coming 12 months.”
