How does the training provider deliver the training?

HIT deliver the training mostly online with the occasional in person visit, this can include videos and regular meetings.

How does your course/mentor support you?

I can always message my mentor through emails regarding any questions such as extending time on assignments etc

What is your typical day at work?

My typical day can vary depending on what service point I am on. Mostly trouble shooting issues and then sending to the correct place in order for the issue to be resolved. I am constantly learning and gaining experience.

What has been the best part of your apprenticeship?

The best part of the apprenticeship is the lack of pressure put on you as you are still learning the job as you go, this motivates me to try harder as there is less pressure. Another similar benefit is the working environment is relaxed both from students and staff.

What do you hope to do on completion of your apprenticeship?

I hope to retain either the job I have or ease into another area of the university.
