Discount and Scholarships
Early Bird discount
To benefit from the Early Bird Discount of £3,100, you must apply by 29th March 2025 and meet all conditions, including payment of fees in full, by the 19th April 2025.
Tuition fee waiver
Students enrolled at a current exchange partner will benefit from a tuition fee waiver worth 25%. This means the fee for students from exchange partners is £2,625.
There are a limited number of places available at this rate so early application is recommended.
EDI Scholarships
UoB is delighted to offer EDI Scholarships to students enrolled at current exchange partners who meet under-represented criteria. UoB will communicate directly with partners to promote these scholarships and your institution will nominate you.
The EDI Scholarship is worth 25% of the full fee, and can be cumulated with the tuition fee waiver. This means that students eligible for a BISS EDI scholarship may benefit from up to 50% discount and their fee is £1,750.
To be eligible for an EDI scholarship, you will meet under-represented criteria decided by your own institution. Your institution will nominate you directly to UoB ; you may need to apply to your own institution first. You cannot apply to UoB directly to be eligible for a BISS EDI scholarship.

Your right to cancel
You may cancel your place at the BISS, and we will provide a refund to the payee of your fees, if you notify us in writing that:
- You are exercising your right to cancel within 14 days from payment.
- You do not meet the English language requirements (proof required). The last day you can notify us is 2nd June 2025.
- Your visa application was unsuccessful (proof required). The last day you can notify us is 21st July 2025.
