Biography:  

Dr. Victor Kallen specialized himself in models of psychophysiological development and decline. As such he obtained his PhD in biomarker models for the development of anxiety disorders (Erasmus University Rotterdam), followed by a post-doc and assistant professorship at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Leiden University. At present he is employed at The Netherlands Organization for Applied Sciences (TNO) where he runs multiple research projects on biomarkers of stress and optimal performance, the effects of food and nutrition on well-being, as well as the influence of lifestyle related factors like smoking and diet on cognitive aging. Within the PANINI consortium is involved in modelling the impact of surgery on allostatic processes in elderly. Additionally he is the consortium's IP manager.
