Award Description
The Pathways to Birmingham (P2B) Scholarship is available to new undergraduates entering the University through any one of the University's P2B programmes (Access to Birmingham, Routes to the Professions, Inspired@Birmingham, Academic Enrichment Programme, National Access Summer School). The scholarship is awarded to those who successfully complete their P2B programme, including a high pass in the Skills4Uni test, and achieve the grades of the standard prospectus offer for their course.
Value of Award
The scholarship is valued at £1,500 per year of study and is renewable subject to the terms and conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must sucessfully complete a Pathways to Birmingham programme (Access to Birmingham, Routes to the Professions, Inspired@Birmingham, Academic Enrichment Programme, National Access Summer School) and achieve at least 75% in the Skills4uni test. Successful students will have achieved the exam results needed for their standard offer, or equivalent (rather than the Pathways to Birmingham offer).
How to Apply
If you meet the criteria, you will be contacted by the University about your award in the first academic term.
If you believe you are eligible for an award but have not heard from the University by the start of the second academic term, please get in touch with the P2B Team at a2b@contacts.bham.ac.uk.
