The presentation of the collection online was part of JISC’s £1.8 million Enriching Digital Resources programme, a set of 25 projects which enhances the use of online content for teaching, learning and research.
Over 10000 images from seventy Middle Eastern Manuscripts have been digitized and made available to browse online. This includes a full set of images of the Birmingham Qur’an manuscript (Islamic Arabic 1572a)
