How to be an active LGBTQ+ Ally (for EDI leads & existing allies)

It’s spring, we’ll be celebrating LGBTQ+ History month in February and there’s the possibility of more staff working on campus. All good reasons to review and develop our work as LGBTQ+ Allies. This workshop is for those who have already attended an LGBTQ+ Allies training and for University EDI leads. It’ll be run by Sean Russell. The content will include:

• Recap of the rationale for Allies and key issues for LGBTQ+ staff and students
• Chance to share good practice and consideration of what individuals might do
• Time to review and plan what we might do next as Allies in the work place and beyond.

This event is being run specifically for EDI leads and exisiting allies to support and build on previous sessions. The link to this workshop has be sent to eligible participants already.
