Make sure you’ve finished all essential administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable first day. We look forward to welcoming you onto campus!
ID card collection
You can collect your ID card from the campus as long as you have completed online registration. When collecting your ID badge don’t forget to pick up a UoBD tote bag which will include some UoBD Merch! Not visited campus before? You can sign up for one of our twice-daily campus tours. Our Student Ambassadors and staff will be available throughout Welcome Week to assist you.
Welcome events and inductions
There is a lot going on over Welcome Week! Make sure you know what events you should attend for your course, as well as other activities and events that you won't want to miss from across the University.
Attend your course induction to learn about your programme, meet key people, and connect with fellow students. Understand available student services, including the Library and Careers Network Dubai. There is also a Health and Safety Induction for all students, and you must complete the mandatory online Health and Safety Canvas Course.
