Join our 12-month full-time advanced course, comprising of lectures, tutorials, seminars, and an individual research project. This course can also be taken on a part-time basis over two years.
This term begins with a focus on establishing a solid foundation in business management. You'll cover key topics like strategy, innovation, marketing, organisational behaviour, and financial management.
Teaching is delivered by leading academics from Birmingham Business School, with research-led content stemming from the school's expertise and reputation to provide a high-quality learning experience to students.

Our MSc builds on foundational business management modules, followed by specialised practical applications, followed by a summer research project.
We offer a combination of evening and weekend classes which are designed to accommodate working professionals and those who choose to study full-time.
Our draft timetable for full-time students is designed to deliver teaching on weekday evenings from 18:00-21:00 and on Saturday from 09:00-16:00. Each module is block taught over 2 weeks. Part-time students will study during these hours as per the number of modules they choose to study.
This programme is a 1 year full time taught masters degree (180 credits) consisting of 120 credits of taught modules and a 60 credit summer project. The dissertation is completed under the direction of a project supervisor which will give you the opportunity to work one-to-one with a leading expert in their field.

To gain a place at Birmingham you will need to meet our general entry requirements, as well as those specific to your course. Your application will be reviewed by the course’s Admissions Tutor, who will decide whether your application should receive an offer.
in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Maths or Technology based subjects from a recognised institution.
Applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree in the above disciplines alongside relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
In order to undertake a programme of study here at the University, you will need to demonstrate that you have a good level of written and spoken English. You can demonstrate your level of English with IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or alternative qualifications.
The University tuition fee covers the cost of your tuition, examination and graduation.
