The University of Birmingham Brazil Institute acts as the central hub of our engagement with Brazil, promoting academic cooperation, partnership and funding opportunities, and cultural initiatives.
For 2025, UBBI is delighted to launch Engage Amazonia 2025, a multidisciplinary programme designed to build long-term collaborations between Birmingham and Amazonian researchers. We invite Birmingham academics from all disciplines with an interest in the region to participate in the programme.
