Helios

A large scultpure os the Sun hangs against the ornate ceiling of The Exchange.

From March to November 2026, The Exchange will host Helios, a breathtaking, large-scale illuminated sculpture by acclaimed British artist Luke Jerram. This spectacular new artwork will transform The Exchange’s historic Banking Hall into an immersive celebration of art and science, and a rare opportunity to gaze at our closest star.

Do I need to book?

No booking is required to visit Helios - entry is completely free, and you don’t need a ticket.

Opening hours at The Exchange are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Please note that our café closes at 4:00 pm.
