Frank Berry is Honorary Professor of Chemistry. Frank has over 400 publications in inorganic solid state and materials chemistry. He has served on many international and national committees and has given lectures in many countries.

Biography

Frank Berry was awarded the BSc and PhD degrees from the University of London. He held an SRC/ICI Research Fellowship in the University of Cambridge between 1975 and 1978 before joining The University of Birmingham as Lecturer,Senior Lecturer and Reader.

He was Visiting Professor in the University of Illinois in 1986 and became Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and Head of Department in The Open University in 1991. He returned as Honorary Professor of Chemistry in The University of Birmingham in 2007.

Frank was awarded the DSc degree of the University of London in 1988 and was elected a Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry in 1984. He is also Honorary Director of The Mossbauer Effect Data Centre
